Stock Sales | aboutThe Tandara Angus Stud was established in 1999 with the purchase of Mooki River Stud Cows from the late Peter Duddy.
In 2003 stud cows and Heifers were purchased from Twenty First Century Angus Dispersal ; Narrawolga & Nekia Dispersal sales.
Principal Blood Line of these females is 036. Future Direction 5321 and the stud now has 65 registered Females.
These Females are artificially inseminated to top sires which over the past 3 years have included USA095, USA1407, USA410H, ARDROSSAN CONNECTION X15, LIMITED DESIGN, BALDRIDGE NEBRASKA. FINAL ANSWER, BOOMTIME, RITO 2V1, 24J, BANDO 9074, SAV THUNDERBIRD 9061, CONNEALY ANSWER71 and CONNEALY MENTOR. In 2009 we started AI-ing some of our stud cows to Gelbvieh sires to produce Balancer bulls. 4 Balancer bulls will be available for sale this year. 2 sired by Excel Bronson, 1 sired by M/L Advantage and 1 by Collateral. These 4 Balancer bulls and 4 Angus bulls will be offered at the Kempsey Bull Sale in August. 3 more Angus bulls will stay on the property for private sale. All these bulls have now been sold.
In 2012 we will have 10 Balancer bulls by Excel Bronson, Excel Cody, Astro, M/L Advantage & Pure Power.

Tandara White Suffolk stud, Breeza, sold a pen of six heavy lambs (pictured above), on Monday 6th April 2009, to a top of 180 AUD - a record fro the Tamworth sale yards - and an average for the pen of $ 161.33. The lambs were weighed on March 26th 2009, and had an average weight of 71.33 kgs. The proceeds were donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Fund.
The Tandara Stud was established in 1992, founded on the PLG genetics based Jounama Stud, with rams being introduced since then from Langley Heights, Illoura and Yarrahappini. In October 2005 stud rams and ewes at the final PLG dispersal sale were purchased. These additions will continue to have a positive impact on the flock’s growth & eye muscle.
