Tandara was passed in at auction & negotiations are continuing with three interested parties at a price of $3300050 AUD including listed farming plant. Price reduced to $3,100,000, including Listed plant and machinery.  Offers will be considered of $2,800,000 bare of plant.

Property has been largely destocked and stock numbers at 28/12/09 are 46 Dry cattle, 560 white suffolk stud ewes, 236 lambs, 5 x08 Stud Rams and 108 x 09 Ram Lambs + 110 cattle on agistment

Tandara Sale Record :

Tandara White Suffolk stud, Breeza, sold a pen of six heavy lambs (pictured above), on Monday 6th April 2009, to a top of 180 AUD - a record fro the Tamworth sale yards - and an average for the pen of $ 161.33. The lambs were weighed on March 26th 2009, and had an average weight of 71.33 kgs. The proceeds were donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Fund.  

The Tandara Stud was established in 1992, founded on the PLG genetics based Jounama Stud, with rams being introduced since then from Langley Heights, Illoura and Yarrahappini. In October 2005 stud rams and ewes at the final PLG dispersal sale were purchased. These additions will continue to have a positive impact on the flock’s growth & eye muscle.
